The Life Skills Semi-Independent Residential (LSR) program focuses on promoting the transition to independence for individuals recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury. The Psychologically Minded residential team works with medical rehabilitative staff to develop treatment and care plans that lead to the highest levels of independence. LSR specializes in placing clients in the general community to prompt better outcomes in community reintegration and a return to independence. The semi-independent residential program helps fulfill some major life goals for clients, including: self-determination, independence, dignity and – ultimately – happiness.
