Master's Level Psychologist

Work Schedule: 8:30am -5pm
Hours per Week: Full-time (40 hours)
Salary: Negotiable based on skills sets, experience, and willingness to excel

Job Description:
Work as part of a trans-disciplinary team to provide behavioral, cognitive, social, and functional rehabilitation to individuals diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries. A core function of this role is the assessment, treatment, and monitoring of cognitive impairments and disruptive behaviors limiting the functional independence of patients, with a goal of reclaiming or re-building autonomy, self-determination, purpose, and independence. 

 Duties: 
  • Assess, review records, generate individual treatment plans and implement clinical interventions
  • Develop and maintain new rehabilitative programming 
  • Compile daily/weekly schedules for each client 
  • Utilize and manage rehab counselors, facilitators and coaches 
  • Perform clinical and behavioral interventions 
  • Simulate various situations and conditions to test client appropriateness and behaviors 
  • Develop module/program specific goals/objectives for each client 
  • Generate daily/monthly reports based on the progress of each client 
  • Participate in daily programming and clinical meetings 
  • Administer formal assessments to clients 
  • Work in conjunction with OT/COTAs and SLPs to meld behavioral deficits with functional therapies 

Qualifications:

  • M.S. and license in Psychology (LLP preferred)
  • Experience in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) preferred 
  • Demonstrates ingenuity and creativity in treatment
  • Demonstrates high level of initiative
  • Demonstrates high level of independent judgment, decision making, and problem solving ability
  • Exhibit ability to work independently and in a group setting
  • Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in all clinical documentation
  • Possesses positive attitude and a high level of interpersonal skill
