Speech-Language Pathologist
Work Schedule: 8:30am -5pm
Hours per Week: Full-time (40 hours)
Wage/Salary: Negotiable Based on Skills Sets, experience, and willingness to excel

Main functions:
Selected candidate's main function is to work as part of a trans-disciplinary team to provide behavioral, cognitive, social, and functional rehabilitation to individuals diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries. A core function of this role is the assessment, treatment, and monitoring of cognitive impairments and disruptive behaviors limiting the functional independence of patients, with a goal of reclaiming or re-building autonomy, self-determination, purpose and independence.
Duties:
• Assess, review records, generate individual treatment plans and implement clinical interventions
• Develop and maintain new rehabilitative programming
• Perform clinical and behavioral interventions
• Develop module/program specific goals/objectives for each client
• Generate monthly treatment plans based on the progress of each client
• Administer formal assessments to clients
• Work in conjunction with all staff to meld behavioral deficits with functional therapies
• Speech rhythm and fluency problems, such as stuttering
• Voice disorders, such as inappropriate pitch or harsh voice
• Problems with understanding and producing language
• Cognitive communication impairments, such as attention, memory, and problem solving disorders
Qualifications:
License and Certification in Speech Therapy
Experience in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) preferred
Demonstrated ingenuity and creativity in treatment
Demonstrated high level of initiative
Demonstrated high level of independent judgment, decision making, and problem solving ability
Exhibit ability to work independently and in a group setting
Demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in all clinical documentation
Possesses positive attitude and a high level of interpersonal skill
Punctual, meticulous, and reliable
Courteous manners with the public
Highly motivated, assertive, energetic, and able to help clients solve problems.
