Theater

The best seats in the house are literally right here. Leather recliners with cupholders. So relaxing. The Village Theater is used for didactics as well as for psycho drama, life-sized memory games and, of course, watching movies. It’s also a great place to get away from the noise and bright lights should a client suffer headaches or light sensitivity.

Our movies are both enjoyable and rehabilitative. Our clinical staff hand picks movies that have themes relating to the struggles our patients share. Overcoming adversity, conflict resolution, consequences and hope are just a few such themes. Additionally, we may also work on frustration and appropriateness. Movies can be very inspiring and capable of building insight. We also take the time for group discussion around the topics that were presented.

At our social events, the theater has been known to be occasionally used for karaoke.
